The Story of 1701 Homes

Metro Detroit is the birthplace of the automobile and the Motor City, the sweet sounds of Motown music, home to Hockeytown, and was the engineering strength that powered us through World War 2. Since its founding in 1701, Detroit has survived 3 centuries of ups and downs, being both an example to the world on how to build a great city and an example of what happens when you neglect it…but it’s still here. Growing, changing, adjusting to all obstacles in its path. A living and breathing organism made of grit, determination, and hardworking people. That is the story we want to tell with 1701. We will adjust-to and thrive-in all conditions, good and bad. The tougher the condition, the more we learn and grow. Being scrappy and remaining strong. Always looking at how we can lead the world with true innovation. Not just finding the fastest horse, but creating the most powerful engine. Changing lives for our homeowners, our teams that work on our homes, and making an impact on the neighborhoods we are lucky enough to be a part of. We believe wholeheartedly in the city of Detroit. Like the houses we work on, we believe the city has amazing bones. And although we haven’t done anything in the city itself as of YET…very shortly we can’t wait to put our love, sweat, and tears into helping our once great city, get back to the top again.

About Our Logo

The Down Arrow

The Roofline
Symbolizes 3 things:
1) The difference in the color of the roofline represents that the house has undergone a change
2) Represents that things are looking up and good times are here
3) That the roof is sturdy and the home is safe

The Home
Symbolizes where our lives take place…there is no where as important as your home

1701 HOMES
Symbolizes an address plaque

Together
Our logo symbolizes everything we stand for
